VANCOUVER – Recipients of the twelfth yearly BC Health Care Awards were declared today at an occasion lunch get-together in Vancouver. Twelve Gold Apple and six Award of Merit beneficiaries were respected.
Introduced by the Health Employers Association of British Columbia (HEABC), the honors perceive British Columbians who are giving exceptional consideration and backing. Grants are given in 11 classifications to ventures improving conveyance through imaginative and community oriented methodologies and to individuals having a beneficial outcome and moving everyone around them.
“BC’s clinical experts – including support staff – really care about conveying quality consideration to British Columbians,” said Michael McMillan, HEABC’s President and CEO. “The BCHC Awards are an occasion to perceive and commend the individual and group commitments made by these people.”
New this year – Dianna Mah-Jones Award of Excellence in Person-Centered Care
Named out of appreciation for Dianna Mah-Jones, this honor is for a group or venture that utilizes driving practices to improve care for patients, inhabitants or customers by zeroing in on the necessities of the individual instead of the requirements of the framework or administration. Dianna Mah-Jones, a word related advisor at GF Strong Rehabilitation Center, was unfortunately killed, alongside her better half Richard Jones, only three months subsequent to being named Provincial HC Hero at the 2017 honors.
